Permits have been filed for the construction of a 4-story residential building with eight housing units at 41-15 76th St. in Elmhurst.

The proposed building would be 44 feet tall and span 6,859 square feet. With an average unit scope of 857 square feet, the eight apartments will most likely be rentals.

In addition to the housing units, the building would also feature a cellar and a rear yard 22 feet in length.

The property is located close to the 74th Street-Broadway and 82nd Street-Jackson Heights subway stations, which provide service for the 7 train, and bus stops for the Q29, Q32, Q47, Q49 and Q53-SBS lines. Other notable nearby features include NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, the Frank D. O’Connor Playground and P.S. 12Q James B. Colgate.

The building applications were submitted by Maung Maung. The applications list Xiucheng Li of Bayside Engineering PC as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in 2025 to take down the 3-story structure at 41-15 76th St. An estimated completion date for construction has not yet been provided.
