Detectives from the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst and Queens Borough North are still working to determine who shot four men in their 20s inside a notorious nightclub early Sunday morning.

Police responded to a 911 call of multiple people shot inside Amadeus, located at 79-51 Albion Ave. at 3:39 a.m. on April. Upon their arrival, officers found a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the face and another 28-year-old man with a graze wound to the head. EMS transported them to Elmhurst Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

Officers were informed that a 25-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the abdomen and arm, and a 24-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. He was transported by private means to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, while the 25-year-old was transported by private means to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing, police said, adding that a motive has not been determined by the detectives.

A law enforcement source familiar with the investigation said the lone gunman has a face tattoo and was wearing a black or brown jacket with a red collar.

City Council Members Phil Wong and Shekar Krishnan spoke out against the Amadeus nightclub's history of violence and the "decisive action" that is needed to protect their constituents.

City Council Members Shekar Krishnan and Phil Wong put out a joint statement on Sunday afternoon saying they were deeply troubled by the early morning shooting.

“While we are grateful that no lives were lost, this incident is the latest in a pattern of violence tied to this location,” they said. “There was a shooting at this same establishment last May, a fatal shooting in 2023 that took the life of a 19-year-old, and numerous 311 and 911 complaints over the last several years. Enough is enough.”

Krishnan and Wong added that the nightclub has become a persistent public safety concern, and decisive action is needed to protect the community.

“We are working with the NYPD and relevant city agencies as the investigation continues,” they said. “Our communities deserve safe streets and establishments that repeatedly put lives at risk must be held accountable.”

Anyone with information regarding this shooting investigation is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org  or on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.

Through April 19, the 110th Precinct has reported three shooting incidents so far in 2026, two more than the one incident reported at the same point last year, an increase of 200%, according to the most recent CompStat report, which was released before the latest shooting at Amadeus on Sunday morning.
